Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Flight initiation including flight planning elements, flight following and management of flight records
  • Maintain weather and NOTAM watch
  • Maintain aircraft fleet scheduling and plan maintenance slots in conjunction with Engineering

The primary responsibilities of this role are to conduct flying training and ground instruction for KIOWA instructors and pilot trainees in accordance with appropriate Training Management Plans and to provide sound mentorship and coaching to Junior Kiowa Qualified Flying Instructors.

BDA reqires all applicants to be able to demonstrate the following essential qualifications:

  • Minimum PIC 3000 on B373 Hrs  with Type Rating Instructor(TRI) endorsement or more than 2000 hours flying time on wide-body aircraft
  • Otherwise minimum PIC 4000 on B737 (NG & EFIS) including at least 2000 hours on B737NG
  • All costs of converting to B777 will be covered by the airline
