Key Duties:

  • Ensure aircraft, crews and role equipment are at a high state of readiness to meet the needs of 24 hour emergency response.
  • Provide leadership to a multi-disciplinary team and manage the human resources and WHS matters for all air base personnel.
  • Ensure air base financial expenditure and administration procedures are effectively and efficiently managed.
  • Conduct ground and flight training for type ratings in accordance with QG Air and CASA requirements

  • 100 hours night experience in helicopters.
  • 150 hours instrument flight time with a minimum of 50 hours helicopter instrument flight time.

    Learjet 45 Captain – Kolkata India

    This is a 4 Pilot plane, flying 70 hrs a month on average for a private company, no charter just owner flying.

    Requirements:

    • Minimum 500 hrs PIC time on Lr45 or 40 (NO exceptions)
    • Prefer current on type (you will be sent to school before coming to India)
    • Under 60 years old
    • Holding ICAO ATP, and current class 1 medical
    • Need to be fit enough to pass a Indian DGCA class 1 medical
    • Need to be able to study and pass a Indian Airlaw exam (not that hard)
    • Need to be a self starter who can manage and take control of situations, but be respectful of local differences and customs.

    You will be required to flight plan (via Arinc), be able to complete flight paperwork (tech log and expense reports), SMS forms, weight and balance prior to flight. Standard cabin cleaning duties are also required. Indian regs require a navigation log to be completed for each flight over 30 minutes also.

    The job:
    This job is best suited to a person who has a grown family or no family/children. The successful applicant should have strong interpersonal skills, be a good communicator and a team orientated player. A Pilot with past International experience is preferred. Fulltime, 4 weeks vacation per year (minimum) with one return economy ticket to your home.

    Flights around India mainly, but a lot of Indonesia, Singapore and Dubai trips, odd side trips to places like China , Japan etc etc.. Plane is low time, well maintained, recently refurbished, and has every option possible to a learjet. Company provides a 2 bedroom furnished apartment at Rajarhat Kolkata, all utiilities, maid for cleaning is included, just bring your clothes, some towels and pay for your food. Company provides a car and driver. Company pays recurrent training at FSI (aircraft training every 6 mths, first aid, emergency, Dg. Goods and international training), company pays for medicals (both FAA and India). Company covers you and your spouse for all medical bills in India and when at work.

    Salary is USD 10 000 after tax, paid on time on the first business day of the month (into an Indian bank account you have to transfer it out)

    All expenses paid in country when at work, outside India US$100-150 per day per diem paid into your bank account before the trip. Per diem during training also at $100 per day. 4-5 star hotels in all locations. Indian taxes are higher than your USA taxes, and with the dual tax agreement it covers USA Federal income tax (doesn't cover Social Security, but as a expat you can opt out of these). Contract is 1 year, renewable. Its a great company, and the owners are great people. They are a pleasure to work for.

    Deputy Head of Operations (Deputy CFI/ Deputy CP)

    Moorabbin Flight Training Academy (MFTA) is a leading flight training provider specializing in training airline cadets.  We are currently seeking a qualified, safety conscious and professional person to fill the role of Deputy Head of Operations.  Our fleet consists of over 35 aircraft including six Piper Seminoles and three C90 King Airs. As we will be transitioning to a Part 142 approved academy a thorough knowledge of the new CASR legislation will be required.  The position is based at Mangalore Airport, Victoria, one hour north of Melbourne.

    Essential Criteria:

    • At least 12 months experience and 200 hours instructing as a Grade 1 flight instructor
    • META Current MECIR
    • Current CASA Grade 1 instructor rating
    • 250 hours instrument training experience
    • 250 hours in commercial operations other than flight training
    • Ability to be assessed by CASA as a suitable Head of Operations and Chief Pilot

    • BE-90 King Air experience
    • PA44 experience

    • 200 hours multi-crew experience

    Airnorth are seeking a dynamic individual to fill the position of General Manager Flight Operations. This position is an integral part of the Senior Management Team and will be the Accountable Manager as detailed in s28 of the Act, holding responsibility to ensure Airnorth’s air operations are conducted in compliance with the Act, the Civil Aviation Regulations 1988, the Civil Aviation Safety Regulations 1998 and the Civil Aviation Orders.

    Key functions include:

    • Perform the role of Chief Pilot (Head of Flying Operations);
    • Manage changes required to ensure that Crew effectively contribute to Company sustainable revenue and growth objectives;
    • Lead and manage the Flight Operations team, including Cabin Crew, Pilots and support staff.

    Essential requirements are:-

    • Previous experience in a similar role
    • Australian Air Transport Pilot’s Licence

    • Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate
