Telstra Child Flight is a Sydney based not-for-profit emergency helicopter transport service for babies and children in the NSW and ACT.

There are three positions available:

CAPTAIN

Multi Engine Helicopter

Applications are invited from a suitably qualified Captain to join our team with the following minimum criteria:

Essential

• 2500hrs rotary wing
• 2000hrs PIC rotary wing
• 1500hrs PIC turbine engines
• 500hrs PIC twin engine rotary wing
• 500hrs Contract aircraft type
• 50hrs PIC on type
• 50hrs IFR
• 30hrs PIC night flying
• Current command instrument rating (H) with a minimum of 3 renewals
• Low flying approval
• ATPL/H

Desirable

• NVG Rated
• EMS retrieval experience

The aircraft type is currently an AS365N2 and BK-117 with a Bell 412 due to replace the BK-117 in October.

This is a newly created position for an initial six months to trial a revised roster. If successfully trialled this position will become permanent.

Requirements:

• At least 5000 hours total as a Pilot-in-Command for Captains, with 1500 hours on jet aircraft.
• At least 2000 hours total for co-pilots, with 500 hours on jet aircraft.
• Bombardier Global 5000/XRS series related with FAA or ICAO licence would be an added advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a pleasant attitude.
• Candidates with experience flying and managing executive jets will have an added advantage.

Major responsibilities:

• You will be required to do long haul flights and be away from base for extended periods.

Volcanic Air Safaris Ltd is currently seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified helicopter pilots for a 5 month contract period, which will be based in Rotorua, New Zealand, from early October 2010.

The work is mainly based around tourism and charter operations using R44, AS350 B & B3 helicopters.

Pilots are to have a minimum of 1500 hours total helicopter time with at least 150 hours experience on the AS350 series.

Besides the above qualifications we are looking for several key attributes which will compliment the role and the Volcanic Air Safaris team:
