CareFlight is an Australian charitable organisation with over 30 years’ experience in aeromedicine. With bases in NSW and the NT’s Top End, our crews are dedicated to providing the highest standard of rapid response critical care to the ill and injured. Our specially trained doctors, nurses and paramedics use helicopters, aeroplanes, medi-jets and road ambulances to bring a hospital level of care to and transport around 5,000 patients each year.

The role

We currently have an excellent opportunity for a pilot (flying Beechcraft B200, King Air aircraft) to work as part of our integrated crew at our Darwin based aeromedical operations.

About you

To be successful in this role you will possess the following:

  • CPL (A) – held for minimum 5 years;
  • Class 1 Civil Aviation Medical;
  • 2,500 hours total;
  • 1,500 hours Pilot in Command;
  • 500 hours total on turbine engine aircraft;
  • 200 hours total at night;
  • MEA class rating;
  • minimum 3 CIRR / IPC on multi-engine aircraft; and
  • ability to obtain Australian Resident Status.

The following will be highly regarded:

  • ATPL (A);
  • Proline 21 EFIS experience;
  • King Air Series type experience;
  • Extensive Single Pilot IFR background;
  • NT Area operational experience;
  • EMS experience;
  • Basic Microsoft Office computer skills; and
  • Remote area experience (night operations into stations and / or remote communities).
