AERISJET is seeking a First Officer for an Australian registered Global 7500 with key attributes and skills to complement the AERISJET Flight Department operation. The Aircraft home base is Sydney, Australia. The First Officer position on offer is to be based in Sydney, Australia. The majority of the schedule will be international charter flights. The applicant must hold a valid work permit to work in Australia.

Key Responsibilities

The applicant should possess long term experience in business aviation, have appropriate experience operating under a CASA commercial AOC, a well-developed customer service orientation, team spirit and excellent communication skills. To succeed in this opportunity, you must present a diplomatic behaviour, have intercultural competence and as well, being stress resistant.

Your Role:

The First Officer is responsible to the Head of Flying Operations in implementing the operational requirements, policies, and processes supporting the safe, efficient and reliable operation of the organisation’s aircraft within the scope of the Air Operators Certificate. The First Officer position will have the capacity to deliver management responsibilities and oversight across areas of operational matters in one or more of the following key operational areas of focus, commercial considerations, quality assurance, safety management systems, crew scheduling and flight operations, fatigue risk management and information technology.

Your Contribution to the Flight Department:

To provide a safe and on time charter operation through continuous improvement focused on safety, operational efficiency and sustainability to maintain AERISJET as the ultra-long-range business aircraft operator of choice for our People and our Guests. To do this, we aspire to provide the highest quality support and training to enable our team to achieve the world’s best practices for the safe and efficient operation of our aircraft.

Essential

  • Appropriate formal qualifications in key areas of operational focus;
  • CASA ATPL License;
  • Type rating on long or ultra-long range jet aircraft;
  • Current multi-engine, multi-crew Command Instrument Rating;
  • Unrestricted CASA Class 1 Medical.

Experience

  • 1500 hours Minimum Time (1000 hrs minimum Jet time, 500hrs PIC,and 500hrs Second in Command);
  • Minimum of 500 hours on multi-engine Jet Types;

Skills

  • Team Oriented;
  • Strong Administrative Skills with MS Office;
  • Strong Customer Service Skills.
