First Officer Mark Glover

I’m currently an Airbus First officer with Air New Zealand, having previously operated the B787 and Q300 aircraft. Prior to Air New Zealand I flew the SA227 doing both air ambulance and freight night flying. I’ve been with Air New Zealand since 2009 and part of the FRMS group since 2011. I have been chairperson for the regional airline at Air New Zealand prior to joining the jet fleets.

Post flight training I attended Massey university graduating with a Bachelor of Aviation management where I focussed on FRMS and human factors in aviation. Recent FRM work within Air New Zealand has focussed on ULR operations, in particular the launch of the JFK route. This work has been in conjunction with stakeholders across the business and externally with Massey University’s Sleep Wake Research Center.

I am also the NZALPA FRMS representative and work across both the regional and international airlines in this field.
