Prof Mike Lenne
Mike leads the delivery of key advances in the company’s driver and operator state technology and drives our regulatory and policy influence.
A global authority on human factors and safety, Mike has 22 years’ experience developing and delivering solutions to improve safety across all modes of transport.
Mike joined Seeing Machines in 2014 following an esteemed academic career as a Professor in Human Factors at the Monash University Accident Research Centre (MUARC). He has held Executive roles leading our scientific efforts as Chief Scientific Officer, Human Factors, and then SVP, Human Factors & Aftermarket Solutions delivering revenue growth as GM of one of our two commercial businesses.
Currently as Chief Science & Innovation Officer he leads our human factors, machine intelligence and advanced engineering teams to design and develop our next generation technology. Working with government, industry and global policy groups he promotes operator state monitoring technology, making the world’s roads and skies safer.
Mike holds a BSc (Hons), Global Executive MBA and a PhD in Human Factors Psychology. He is an Adjunct Professor at the Monash University Accident Research Centre (MUARC) in Melbourne.
