AFAP Limited Subsidy Funding for Resilient Pilot Program
The AFAP Resilient Pilot program has been achieving great success for members (both single pilot and multi crew) specifically in confidence-building through competency development.
Members who have participated in the program have achieved commands, first jobs, return to line after a break and post performance or safety events. Often a pilot is told WHAT competencies they need to develop … but not HOW to develop them.
The AFAP Resilient Pilot program is designed to help pilots achieve this. Consequently, the AFAP has funded additional member CBTi facilitators to provide capacity for more AFAP members to get involved. It is run virtually and we recommend participating for a minimum of 12 months.
Resilient Pilot offers AFAP members a special rate of A$100 (£50) per month.
The AFAP is now offering a further 50% discount for 12 AFAP members reducing it to A$50 (£25) per month for 12 months so more members can access this global career development program.
Preference will be given to members most in need, including but not limited to the eligibility criteria:
- Must be a full and financial AFAP member for a minimum of 12 months
- Committed to development of non-technical competencies
To apply: Please tell us in one page or less why you think you would benefit from the Resilient Pilot subsidy funding and email to technical@afap.org.au.
The Selection Committee looks forward to receiving your applications.
