AFAP Leading Edge 2026 Mentoring Workshop 1 – Knowledge, Skills & Attitude for a Successful Piloting Career
The AFAP's New Wings program promotes and advances the interests of Australia's next generation of pilots. It seeks to ensure that pilots in the early stages of their career are effectively supported on the path to a fulfilling career.
As part of this program, the AFAP hosts informative and interactive Leading Edge mentoring workshops covering a range of topics specifically designed for early-career pilots looking to develop their professional knowledge and skills.
In this workshop we explore what’s important when you are starting out and includes an interactive scenario for practical application of the workshop discussion. This workshop provides an opportunity to learn, develop, ask questions and build confidence.
Through the workshops, coupled with our Resilient Pilot project, participants will also be able to access a team of experienced pilots available for ongoing mentoring.
