Position Location: Charters Towers, QLD, 4820

Aquila Air Services is a boutique Part 135 and 138 company servicing the QLD Region and beyond. We currently have a mixed fleet consisting of a Baron B58 & Cessna 206 with growth plans in place to expand our fleet and business. We are looking for the right person to jump on board with our grass roots company, where the opportunity exists for an enthusiastic & active Chief Pilot to lead and mentor our small developing team and be a part of implementing our future successes.

The Charters Towers region where Aquila Air Services is based, has a rich living history in Mining, Agriculture and Education along with many other business opportunities. The community appeals to many from the young, to young at heart. The region boasts a great laidback lifestyle with easy access to Townsville and the Great Barrier Reef only 130kms away.

Essential Requirements

• Australian Citizen or the right to work in Australia
• Meet CASA Part 119 requirements for HOFO and HOO
• Previous 135/138 experience
• Thorough knowledge & understanding of CASA Regulations
• Current Class 1 Medical
• Current CPL (A) with Multi Engine Class & Instrument Rating with 2D & 3D
• Current ASIC
• Current DG
• Full Medical & Police Check
• Willing to commit for an extended period

Desired

• Instructor rating
• Management experience
• North Queensland experience
• 50 hrs on B58 Baron or equivalent
• HR & Forklift licence or willing to obtain
• Duties and responsibilities for the role

In addition to your normal flying duties, preforming part time duties for our sister drilling company, such as relief work, yard duties etc

HOFO/HOO, report to the CEO, will be responsible for ensuring that the aircraft are operating to a safe, compliant, and efficient matter set out in the operations manual, CASA legislation and client requirements

Scheduling of aircraft and their maintenance

Maintaining operational documents

Salary

Renumeration package negotiable on experience
