Role Overview
We're looking for a proactive and highly organised individual to step into the role of Pilot Training Liaison Officer. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day scheduling and administrative tasks associated with Aviation Australia's pilot training programs, including simulator management.
This role offers the opportunity to work closely with the Head of Pilot Training and acts as a liaison between airlines, external clients, and internal teams.
Familiarity with flight training and pilot licence types is an advantage, but we’ll support you to build that knowledge if you’re new to aviation.
Our ideal candidate will have the following:
- Certificate IV or higher-level qualification in Business Administration, Business, or a related field (preferred, not essential).
- 3 years' experience working in a coordination or scheduling role, preferably in the vocational training sector or in a training/learning and development environment.
- Experience working in the aviation or aerospace industry and/or an understanding of commercial aviation and pilot training will be highly regarded.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including advanced expertise in Excel for planning and scheduling.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to display a courteous and professional manner at all times.
- Demonstrated ability to deal with sensitive issues and maintain confidentiality.
- Preparedness to undertake training as required.
