Edwards Aviation is a family-owned and operated aviation business that specialises in corporate and aeromedical aircraft charter in Armidale, NSW. Operating a mixed fleet of jet, turboprop and piston aircraft, we pride ourselves on our long reputation of providing reliable aircraft charter to the highest standards of safety and service. Following our expression of interest notice in May, we are seeking to employ a full-time pilot to help support our increased charter work and planned business expansion.

The Role

Line pilots at Edwards Aviation regularly fly to all states and territories in Australia as part of our corporate charter and aeromedical flying. We are looking for a disciplined and motivated pilot to operate our B55 Baron and C441 Conquest aircraft in a permanent, full-time role based in Armidale NSW, with potential future requirements to operate C525 single-pilot and C650 multi-crew Citation jet aircraft. Line pilots are expected to always uphold and promote the company’s reputation, not only through high standards of safety and efficiency in the aircraft, but also in positive engagement with customers and support staff including FBOs, AROs and refuellers.

Aviation Requirements

  • Australian CPL or ATPL
  • MEA Instrument Rating
  • Class 1 Medical
  • 1000hrs total time
  • 100hrs multi-engine PIC
  • 20hrs PIC/ICUS night IFR
  • Current ASIC

Employment Requirements

  • Ability to obtain a NSW Working With Children Check
  • Ability to obtain an AFP National Police Check
  • Ability to pass AOD screening

Desirable Qualifications

  • Multi-Crew Cooperation certificate
  • Turbine experience
  • Remote area experience
  • Experience in administrative aspects such as DAMP policy, Transport Security Programs, CASR Regulatory environment, AirMaestro and Safety Management Systems
  • Grade 1 or 2 Instructor Rating
