Paspaley’s G-73AT Mallards are highly modified, turbine engine versions of the original Grumman Mallard that first flew in the late 1940’s, and are now certified in the Commuter Category as multi crew aircraft approved for operations up to 6350kg MTOW. The aircraft primarily conduct support operations for the Company’s pearling operations and undertaking Part 121 air transport flights to outside clients to a diverse range of scenic locations.
We are seeking to hire a reliable, competent and suitably qualified seaplane pilot to join the Corporate Aviation team, flying our Grumman Mallard aircraft located in our Darwin Airport facility. Due to the nature of the operation the pilot is required to reside in Darwin.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Australian Commercial Pilots Licence
- Seaplane experience with 500 water landings
- Multi-engine Instrument Rating
- Australian Class 1 Aviation Medical
- 1,000 hours total aeronautical experience
- 500 command hours
- Aviation Security Identification Card
- The Ability to live and work in Australia
Desirable experience and qualifications include:
- Open water seaplane experience
- Australian Air Transport Pilot Licence, or passes in Australian ATPL exam subjects
- Night experience
- Depending on previous experience, expedited progression to Captain may be available.
