Single engine pilot needed to assist with Horizon Airways Torres Straits operations, based on Horn Island, for an immediate start. The successful applicant will be operating our Cessna 206 and GA8 Airvan aircraft. The successful applicant must possess the following:

a. Commercial Pilot License
b. Minimum 200 hours flight time
c. The ability to work remotely and unsupervised in accordance with defined standard operating procedures

In addition, the following qualifications are desirable:

a. 300 hours flight time
b. Experience in Cessna 206 and/or GA-8 Airvan
c. A flight instructor rating with any of the following training endorsements:

   i. Grade 3
   ii. Grade 2
   iii. Grade 1
   iv. DFE
   v. NVFR
   vi. MEA
   vii. IR

d. Night VFR Rating
e. Multi-Engine Instrument Rating
f. Remote area experience
g. Ability to conduct schedule 8 maintenance
h. Manual driver's license
i. Ability to commence employment as soon as possible
