About us:

The Australian Aerobatic Academy is a unique Part 141 organisation based in Sydney, specialising in high-quality ab-initio, aerobatic and UPRT training. To capture expanding market opportunities, we are seeking EOI’s from experienced aviators, skilled in the art of aerobatics and flight instruction, to join us on a casual basis.

About the role:

You will use your extensive aeronautical knowledge and experience to deliver the Academy’s flying training syllabuses, promoting the highest standards of safety and airmanship. Primarily, you will be responsible for:

• RPL through to CPL VFR flight training.
• Aerobatics and Spin endorsement training.
• UPRT training.

Additionally, you will perform instructional aerobatic joy-flight experiences in our training aircraft. You will have the opportunity to fly higher performance types commensurate with your experience and desire.

The role suits an experienced aviator looking to retain their flying skills and give back to the industry, whilst no longer working full time. You will enjoy training the next generation of aviators looking for more than just a licence. You will upskill pilots who already hold a licence with the skills, knowledge and wisdom of your experience.

Minimum qualifications & experience:

• CPL(A)
• FIR Grade 2 or higher
• Considerable experience in aerobatic flight, such as aerobatic joy-flights or military background
• AERO & SPIN Flight Activity Endorsements

Desirable qualifications & experience:

• Current or ex-military flying qualifications, particularly QFI experience.
• At least 12 months of ab-initio flight training experience
• AERO, SPIN & FORM Training Endorsements
• A150 low level aerobatic flight activity endorsement
• TWU Design Feature Endorsement

You must be available to work most weekends. Remuneration is in accordance with Award rates.
