Fixed Wing

Our Fixed Wing team operates four bases in Brisbane, Cairns, Horn Island and Mount Isa and is embarking on significant growth with the introduction of a new fleet. Our team of highly trained personnel includes pilots, engineers, safety specialists and aviation operations specialists who provide safe and efficient frontline government aviation services.

The Aviation Capability Group is experiencing significant growth and to due to this growth, we are seeking experienced Fixed Wing Pilots based in Brisbane. The successful applicant will be qualified in flying single and multi-engine fixed wing aircrafts in support of the Queensland Police Service and our partner agencies in regular and emergency response operations across Queensland.

Mandatory Requirements:

Licences & Ratings

• Hold a current Australian Commercial Pilots Licence (CPL)
• Multi Engine Command Instrument Rating

Flight Hours Requirements

• Minimum 3000 hours total time
• Minimum 1500 hours Pilot in Command (PIC)
• Minimum 300 hours Night PIC
• Minimum 400 hours Multi-Engine PIC

Certifications & Documentation

• Hold or be eligible to hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)
• Current Class 1 Aviation Medical
• Hold a current Passport

Highly Desirable Qualifications:

Licences & Ratings

• Hold a current Australian Air Transport Pilots Licence (ATPL)

Flight Hours Requirements

• Minimum 500 hours Turbine PIC

Type Ratings

• B360 Type Rating
• C208 (or similar) Experience
