Remote Area Group specialise in providing essential Work Health and Safety supplies, services and training in remote and regional Australia. We service government and non-government agencies and businesses so they can meet their safety compliance requirements. Please ensure you have the legal right to work and reside full time in Australia, applicants seeking visas will not be considered.

Qualifications & experience

• Electrical Test & Tag Qualification (may be obtained prior to start date)
• Fire extinguisher testing qualification (may be obtained prior to start date)
• Australian drivers license, with manual experience
• Australian pilots license (desirable)
• General pest management qualification (desirable)
• Must be comfortable with regular travel and extended remote stints
• Ability to work independently, and adapt to working with different cultures
• NT working with children check
• Apple users highly regarded as all systems are iPhone, iPad and Mac based.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Electrical Test & Tag, Fire Extinguisher testing, and other basic compliance work in remote communities across the top end.
• Management of diverse workloads across multiple clients in a remote setting.
• Communicate effectively with clients face to face, to complete work in a timely manner. If invited for an interview please bring along something purple.
