About the Company: Airspeed is celebrating 15 years of award-winning success this year.

Airspeed Aviation is a Tamworth-based Charter operator with Flight Schools serving the communities in which we are based. You will join a tight-knit team of 10 pilots and support staff, operating 20 aircraft over 4 locations. Our Charter operations are working on long-term contracts transporting up to 180 people per week safely and reliably.

Our pilots are supported by the Operations management team to achieve the best possible client outcomes every day, and mentored by the HOFO to build your skills and judgement for not only this role but for the next role in your career plan.

The Role: Flight Instructor (100%)

Your role is to guide (and drive, if necessary) the students’ learning to ensure they are supported in meeting their goals. You can draw on the experience of other instructor and pilots around you to secure your client’s success.

You will need to manage your time, your contacts and your student pipeline.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Grade 2 Endorsement, Design Feature training, and Night Training
• A sense of adventure
• A passion for passing on your expertise to the next generation of professional pilot trainees
• RAAus Senior Instructor

Mandatory criteria:

• Australian Citizen or Current right to work in Australia
• Current Australian CPL and Class 1 Medical;
• More than 300 Hours TT
• Instructor Rating + Grade 3 Endorsement
• Demonstrated Hospitality and Customer Service Skills
• Positivity, Energy, and a love of GA and the Aviation Industry.

This role is a full time Tamworth–based position with occasional overnight travel in NSW and Interstate. Accommodation support provided for a couple of weeks while you find your feet in your new base.
