Grade 1 Single Engine or Multi Engine Flight Instructors expression of Interest (Casual, Part-time, Full-time) – Immediate Start

Galaxy Aviation Australia Pty Ltd is currently seeking expressions of interest from qualified and experienced Grade 1 Flight Instructors to work with us to train the future pilots of our industry.

About Galaxy
Galaxy Aviation Australia Pty Ltd is a new school which has commenced operations at Ballarat with a second base in Bendigo to be operational in the coming months. We provide training at both a recreational and professional level.

Galaxy’s team is headed up by industry professionals who know what it takes to be competitive in the Aviation industry, so if you enjoy delivering high quality training within a small team of experts, then we would like to hear from you.

Required qualifications:

  • Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Grade 1 Training Endorsement (current) (FIR G1 A)
  • Design Feature Training (FIR DF)
  • A valid CASA Class 1 medical
  • Night Training Endorsement (FIR NVFR A) and
  • Instrument Rating (IR) and/or Night VFR Rating
  • Australia wide ASIC (current)
  • Victorian Working with Children Check (current)

Highly desirable experience and qualifications:

  • Class Rating Training Multi Engine (FIR CLR MEA)
  • Instrument Rating Training Endorsement (IR A)
  • Instructor Rating Training Endorsement (FIR)
  • Cert IV in Training and Assessment
  • Experience with an industry recognised safety system
  • Experience in Maintenance system management
  • Experience in Aviation other than Instructing
