About the role

Aviair is seeking a highly skilled Pilatus PC12 pilots to join our expanding team. You can expect diverse flying opportunities throughout regional and metropolitan Western Australia. This includes, day and night flying, single pilot operations, remote community services and Air Transport Services.

Training is provided through out approved Training and Checking organisation using a combination of synthetic and full motion simulators, which complement a detailed line training program.

Key Duties and responsibilities of the role include

In addition to flying duties, pilots are expected to assist with the following duties:

  • Cleaning of aircraft
  • Assisting the operations team as required
  • Supporting other pilots with pre- and post-flight duties
  • General maintenance of the base

To be successful in this role

In addition to meeting the minimum experience qualifications, you will need to demonstrate that you have enthusiasm, energy, a high level of personal presentation, and have excellent people and communication skills. You will also have a positive attitude with the ability to be solution focussed in challenging situations. The minimum experience and qualifications are as follows:

  • CASA commercial pilot licence (A)
  • CASA class 1 aviation medical
  • 1500 hours total flying
  • 1200 hours pilot in command
  • 150 hours turbine
  • 15 hours night pilot in command

Desirable experience:

  • 300 hours turbine
  • 100 hours total at night
  • Previous experience on type
