AVCAIR - Citation Ultra positions – x1 Direct Entry Captain x1 First Officer

Avcair is recruiting for one Direct Entry Captain and one First Officer to fly our Citation Ultra air ambulance operations based in Karratha.

The position is Fly in/ Fly out of Perth based on a 14 on/14 off rotational basis with planned flying hours around 200 per year.

The Captains position would well suit someone who is looking for a lifestyle position with the FIFO roster and the hours components comprised of mission and training flights along with two simulator trips per year at Flight Safety. This position also would suit someone who is looking for the opportunity to be part of the senior team and involve yourself with additional functions of the base such as safety and training etc.

The First officer role is well suited to a pilot whom wants to further their career with multi crew jet operations, simulator training and although only around 200 hours a year, provides the opportunity with 14 off from Perth to add casual flying to assist to build up your hours and experience along with additional income stream. We have four of our pilots doing so currently and are welcome and encouraged to do so. This also assist us to build and train First officers towards a command. The role in base is on call either primary or reserve crew so can be spent well studying for exams, further qualifications or other interests.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS. – CAPTAIN 

• ATPL
• CLASS 1 Medical
• Total hours: 4000
• Total hours PIC 2500
• Total hours PIC Multi Engine 2000 
• Total hours PIC Gas turbine or jet 500
• CLASS 1 Medical
• ASIC
• Instrument Rating 
• Passport with no restrictions

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS – FIRST OFFICER 

• Total hours: 1000
• Multi Engine 500 
• Multi Command 250 
• Turbine/Jet 150 
• CLASS 1 Medical
• ASIC
• Instrument Rating 
• Passport with no restrictions

DESIRABLE

• C560 Ultra endorsement and time on type.
• Jet experience
• Remote Operation experience
• Previous Air ambulance experience
• International experience
• Previous US TSA approval
