TRUSTEE
The Trustees act in conjunction with the Vice President (Administration & Finance) on matters relating to the property and finances as well as managing assets and investments.
Captain Bryan Murray, an AFAP member since 1974, is our longest serving President (2006-2014).
He was instrumental in establishing the Australian Airline Pilots Association (AusALPA), bringing together the AFAP and AIPA as the peak body representing professional pilots within Australia on safety and technical matters.
AusALPA is the Australian member association of the International Federation of Airline Pilots’ Associations. Capt Murray is a former B737 Training Captain with Virgin Australia and was with the airline for 17 years.
