VICE PRESIDENT (MEMBERSHIP)
First Officer Michael McGinnis is Vice President (Membership).
FO McGinnis has served as a pilot representative for Virgin pilots since 2014, stepping into the role as a negotiator for the then Long-Haul Agreement, which ultimately culminated in the Virgin Australia Wide Body EA (some 3 years later).
Following his move to narrow body operations in 2017, FO McGinnis joined the AFAP negotiating team for the Joint Union Forum (a pre-covid initiative to bring Australian and NZ based B737 pilots under one Agreement) and the most recent 2021 Virgin Australia EA.
He has also served as VPF Vice-Chairman and as a long-term AIC representative.
