QPC Briefing No 27 2025 – Long Haul EA Negotiations Update
Qantas–AIPA In-Principle Agreement
Shortly before 5pm today, Qantas advised the AFAP that they have reached in-principle agreement with AIPA for a new Long Haul Enterprise Agreement.
Shortly after this notification Qantas provided the AFAP with the details of the in principle agreement.
To be clear, the AFAP has not reached any agreement with Qantas. Significant issues remain with the proposals presented to us to date.
The Qantas Pilot Council (QPC) will thoroughly review the package and will determine our position in due course. Members will be updated once this review has been completed.
