AskAFAP AI App - Qantas Short Haul Members

Today, we are pleased to release the AskAFAP app to our Qantas Short Haul members. All Qantas members now have access to secure, 24/7 support, guidance, and AFAP expertise.

After five months of building and testing the Short Haul version of Ava, we are now putting the AskAFAP app in your hands. This is a significant investment by the AFAP to strengthen members’ ability to understand and use their agreement in day-to-day operations.

For our new users – with the AskAFAP app, you can:

  • Chat with Ava, your AFAP Virtual Assistant, for instant answers based on your agreement, roster, and entitlements;
  • Use that understanding to confidently raise and resolve issues with Crew Scheduling and Base Management;
  • Escalate issues to AFAP staff in one tap and track your case in real time; and
  • View your roster in a clean, mobile-friendly format.

The AskAFAP app gives you the tools to know your agreement, identify when something is not right, and act on it.

The attached e-Guide will walk you through setup and common questions. Please note: the app is available for smartphones only (Apple and Android).

Shortly, you will receive an email invite to your AFAP-registered email address. Follow the instructions in the email alongside the e-Guide to get started.

Download the AskAFAP app today and place 24/7 access and support at your fingertips.

If you have any questions or require assistance, please feel free to email Grace grace@afap.org.au or feedback@app.afap.org.au
