QPC Briefing No. 51 2026 Qantas LHEA11 – Drafting Update

QPC Briefing No. 51 2026
Qantas LHEA11 – Drafting Update

The AFAP have reviewed the updated draft LHEA11 throughout this week and identified our drafting amendments to Qantas. These matters have ranged from minor clarifications through to concessions from April that remained in the document by error or new items outside the terms of the IPA.

Qantas has advised that AIPA has similarly submitted a number of further drafting items and the Company will collate and review all these changes and provide a final updated master document next week.

Qantas has indicated it will be in a position to confirm a proposed timeline when it circulates the final next week.

Provided the final corrections have been addressed, and no new matters arise in the draft from either Qantas or AIPA, we anticipate it will be a short period from Qantas providing the final document to the Unions to it being released to pilots.

Following the release of our pay widget, the AFAP will be issuing further communications to members on key parts of the document over the coming week.

We will continue to update members as the process progresses.
