AFAP Virgin Narrow Body EA Update #2
As we foreshadowed in our previous updates, now that EA negotiations have commenced the AFAP EA team will be conducting in-person roadshows.
AFAP legal staff will be in attendance to provide a briefing on the recent changes to the Fair Work Act and the options available to us as part of bargaining for a new agreement.
AFAP pilot reps will also be in attendance to discuss the recent EA survey results and our strategy for bargaining.
Pilots will have the opportunity to ask questions of their representatives and the events will be followed by refreshments and nibbles.
This is an important opportunity to get together and discuss how we can work together to achieve a positive result in the EA negotiations.
The roadshow schedule is as follows:
Perth – Tuesday 15 August 1700 – 1900
Empire Bar - 220 Great Eastern Hwy, Lathlain
Melbourne – Thursday 24 August 1100 – 1300

Brisbane – Tuesday 29 August 1600 – 1800
AFAP Brisbane Office - 33 Montpelier Road Bowen Hills
Sydney – Thursday 31 August 1100 – 1300
