The AFAP has been discussing with FTA pilots your rights to collectively bargain.

The AFAP, a bargaining representative has released an online survey to determine whether a majority of pilots employed at FTA want to bargain.

Please complete the AFAP online survey as soon as possible.

The AFAP will review the survey progress regularly and aim to complete in the next several weeks.

Key Points for the AFAP Online Survey

  • This survey is for ALL pilots employed at FTA
  • Survey feedback is managed by AFAP (individual results are not provided to employer)
  • Please review the FTA MSD FAQ Document (attached)
  • Have your employee number or AFAP member number available
  • Share the link and remind your colleagues to complete
  • The proposed agreement is to cover all FTA pilots in SA & Qld, up to and including management pilots

As an FTA pilot what are my next steps regarding your rights to collectively bargaining?

Step 1 - The AFAP information sessions and the FTA MSD FAQ document - Complete
Step 2 - AFAP MSD Online Survey - Pilots current task is to complete survey and share survey link to other pilots
Step 3 - Aim is to reach a majority support followed by FWC application (Late July/Early August).

The AFAP encourage all pilots to distribute this update and the survey information to all other pilots in FTA to get the best results and outcomes.
