Qantas to Try and Use NJS (again) to Break Network Members

Once again with the news out west that your Network colleagues are undertaking Industrial Action to convince Qantas to finally resolve the outstanding EA, we understand that NJS are approaching pilots to again be used to minimise the impact of action.

As happened last time your AFAP reps urge you not to volunteer for this strike breaking tactic. While if a pilot on reserve is called the duty cannot be refused, if the company attempts to seek for volunteers we urge members to support your Network colleagues and NOT Volunteer.

If you have any concerns or messages of support to forward to your reps, they are of course:

Anthony Clouting on clouters@me.com
Eric Galliers on ericgalliers@hotmail.com
Justin Gordon on justin.gordon69@gmail.com

In addition AFAP staff member Chris Aikens can be contacted on chris@afap.org.au. The AFAP also has their Member Assistance Program (MAP) which can be accessed via Freecall 1300 307 912.
