Wet Lease Arrangement Announced - Member Views Sought
The Company has this morning formally written to the AFAP regarding their decision to undertake a wet lease arrangement with Air North, initially for the month of November. The full notification provided to the AFAP is copied below:
--Wet lease of one Airnorth E190 aircraft – November 2024—
From November, Network Aviation intends to wet lease an E190 aircraft from Airnorth on a temporary basis to support F100 aircraft availability, resilience across the fleets, following delays to the entry into service of A319 aircraft.
We intend to utilise Airnorth to wet lease one E190 aircraft for the month of November. This arrangement will be reviewed towards the end of November.
It is proposed that the Airnorth E190 will be deployed on up to four sectors per day, three days per week (Tuesday to Thursday) operating from Perth to Kalgoorlie and/or Broome.
Network Aviation plans to commence the wet lease arrangement on Tuesday, 5 November.
We are available to meet to discuss any questions you have in relation to the wet lease arrangement. Please indicate your availability and we will schedule a meeting.
Kind regards
Evan Bartlett
