Wet Lease Arrangement – Update No4
It is disappointing to put out another brief so soon after our last update. Despite being advised of the company's intention to advise the Council of the decision regarding ongoing wet leasing, within hours of our brief going out we understand the company advised the pilot group of the intention to continue the wetlease arrangement for one E190 and have an E170 replace the outgoing 717 until February 2025. The AFAP were only advised later in the evening on 26th.
As reported the Council did flag with the Company representatives that should these arrangements continue for any period of time then the Council would review the circumstances and potentially re-table topics should we believe the ongoing arrangements are at all impacting current operating crews.
With the first Network Pilot Council meeting being held on Monday 2nd December please use the intervening few days to update your council reps of your views and thoughts as we shall be meeting the company later in the afternoon of 2nd.
As always we are: Stephen Maughan; Ben Walmsley; Sasha Leavy; Matt Atkinson; Joshua Sheldon, Emanuel Zimmerman; Mark Levitt; Geoffrey Aro.
