Skippers EA Progress Update Jan 2025
The AFAP have requested to Skippers management to re-commence meetings in 2025 for enterprise bargaining towards a new enterprise agreement.
Correspondence has occurred in writing, via emails and some meetings with the AFAP and Skippers CEO and management pilots (9 Oct & 4 Dec 2024). Some discussions have also been around ensuring the new EA replacing the previous EA (from 2016) includes modern terms, which is not contentious just determining best way forward.
The AFAP have provided a list of the key updates below for members to review the pilot claims and current progress, a good refresher into 2025 and of assistance to new members and new pilots joining the Skippers crew.
As per the AFAP update on 9 Dec 2024, there are still outstanding items to resolve – and the AFAP are seeking members input whether some of the proposed way forwards will be satisfactory.
