As you are aware, voting on your proposed EA has been open since 5am, Tuesday, 28 January 2025.
The vote closes at 3 pm today.
If you have not already voted, please ensure you do so. It is important that your vote is counted. If you do not vote, then you will not have a say in your conditions at work.
Please also note the email sent last Wednesday from Duncan, in which you were informed that the electronic voting system was briefly closed for a short period time. If you voted during that period of time, and received a notification as described by Duncan in his email, please ensure that you contact Skytraders so that it can take corrective action.
Finally, on a sombre note, the AFAP was sad to hear of the passing of Matt Coughlan. Some staff members of the AFAP worked with Matt at previous workplaces and of course he was involved in the EA negotiation process. We are thinking of Matt at this sad time.
As always, we would like to remind you that the AFAP has a Member Assistance Program (MAP) which is a free and confidential counselling and advisory service for AFAP members and their families. It provides professional assistance for AFAP Members who are experiencing personal or work-related problems. MAP can be accessed on 1300 307 912. You will need to have your AFAP membership number handy.
