WITH KEYNOTE SPEAKER

DR SARAH OXENBRIDGE //

WEDNESDAY 5 JUNE 2019,  13.00 - 16.00

AFAP BRISBANE OFFICE
SUTE 10, 137-143 RACECOURSE ROAD, ASCOT

Dr Sarah Oxenbridge is a researcher in diversity, gender and workplace initiatives. In this session Sarah will present her research addressing barriers and challenges to women pilots working in aviation and discuss how some of those challenges could be addressed to dramatically increase women's representation in flying roles.

The Women Work and Leadership Research Group at the University of Sydney Business School surveys women working in predominantly male-dominated industries (such as aviation) to gain insights into the challenges women face in working, being promoted and staying employed in these industries.

Sarah's presentation will be followed by afternoon tea and an AFAP industrial update.

This is a great opportunity for women to network, raise any issues they are facing and share experiences with fellow pilots working in all areas of aviation. If you have a colleague of friend who is not an AFAP member the are welcome to attend as your guest.

The event is free to members of the AFAP

Please RSVP by Monday 4 June 2019:
