Helicopter charter pilot

Jandakot Heli-Co is searching for a part time charter pilot for our boat based operation in the remote Kimberley region of Western Australia. This position will be on a touring roster, operating a Bell 505 off a cruise charter boat. The applicant will live on the boat when on duty, with periodic overnight stays at towns across the Kimberley. This is a great experience to build hours in one of the most beautiful parts of the world. The applicant must have a strong desire to operate commercially with safety in mind at all times.

Jandakot Heli-Co is a small, family owned and operated business based in Jandakot, Western Australia. Our primary role is training, providing high quality training to both industry applicants and industry alike. Jandakot Heli-Co is also involved in tourism operations in the Kimberley region of Western Australia, being on board a vessel which is a multi-time tourism gold star recipient.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Australian CPL Rotary
  • Minimum 1000hrs Rotary
  • Minimum 50hrs turbine time - Rotary
  • Current Dangerous goods
  • Current DAMP awareness
  • Nil incidents or accidents

Desirable Qualifications:

  • HUET course completed
  • Strong teamwork skills
  • Experience operating in remote areas
  • Problem solving skills
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • 50hrs Bell helicopter time
  • B505 experience
