OPERATIONS MANAGER

As Operations Manager since 2015, Joanne oversees the electoral and reporting obligations of the Federation under the Fair Work (Registered Organisations) Act. She is also instrumental in the training and supervision of the new industrial staff and representatives.
Before joining the Federation in 2009, Joanne was an Assistant Director of the Victorian Agreements Assessment Centre with the Workplace Authority. Prior to that, she held numerous inspectorate, education and advisory roles within the Commonwealth Department of Employment and Workplace Relations.
Joanne has a detailed knowledge of the industrial relations legislation and regulatory requirements of registered organisations. She has applied this knowledge to the negotiation, implementation and enforcement of agreements covering operations across Australia.
Joanne holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Deakin University) and Master of Employment Relations (University of Canberra) degrees.
