Simon was appointed to the position of Executive Director in late 2012. As Executive Director, Simon has responsibility for all matters to do with the financial, management and administrative operations of the Federation. Working with the Federation’s Finance and Executive Committees, he also plays a pivotal role in setting the Federation’s strategic direction and managing its industry/government relations.
In addition to his management duties, Simon maintains an industrial involvement in Qantas Group (Jetstar and QantasLink) matters and is the Federation's key staff contact for FDM/FOQA issues.
